Mouhcine Guettabi, Ph.D.

 My university service has been varied and extensive. I have assumed a leadership role at the Institute by chairing a vision committee that redefined the Institutes's priorities, future direction, and made recommendations on staffing needs. This position required revisiting the mission, managing a committee comprised of senior faculty, meeting with the dean on a regular basis, and providing a clear path forward. I believe I have been highly successful in these tasks as we have hired two new faculty members, a new director, and the faculty have a much clearer set of expectations. In addition to the responsibilities listed above, I chaired the ISER Director Search Committee which ultimately
resulted in the hiring of a very qualified individual. This                    summarizes these activities.
